My third book was launched few months later.

Copies were pre booked in large numbers.

Like last two times, I was getting positive responses.

Gayathri was happy too.

"Where is Dev?"

She asked one day, as I sat monitoring author’s dash boards in various online platforms. I felt good on the number of sales.

"He is in Kochi now. He has gone there to meet Revathy. They are going to meet for the first time after the incident. She has joined her new branch at Kochi. After the incident, she was transferred out to Kochi, on doctor's instructions. She needed a change"

"Thank god, she is fine. Such a fine and innocent girl. Are they getting together?"

"Don't think so, Gachu. Such things happen only in stories. She is engaged to an IT professional and they are getting married in few days. Dev is now ok with it. He has finally accepted the fact. He is happy that Revathy is alive. And he needs nothing else"

"Then why is he meeting her now? Won't it cut open the old bruises? Won't it hurt him more?"

"None of that Gachu. Dev has reached a divine stage in love. Where, he accepts that his part has been played out. A suitable match has now come for his love, and he has consented to step aside. He knows, it is better for her. He knows she will be happy. And he knows, he will be there around her, every time and any time she wants. Whether she will ever want him or not, doesn't bother him now. He just loves her, and will continue doing that. For him she is his journey. Not his destination. "

Gayathri wiped off her tears.

"He is half way in love; and is happy just to continue his journey."
