Ben’s Flute

Ben was an orphan boy who lived in the village. Since he had nobody to take care of him, the villagers adopted him. Each one of them took turns to feed him and clothe him. This eventually made Ben a very lazy boy.
Each day he would just sit under a tree & played the flute or roam around the village. As Ben grew up Jack and Anne, Ben’s aunt and uncle found about him and adopted him. They took care of him along with their son Kenny. Sometimes Anne was tired of Ben’s laziness. One day she got really angry and went ballistic on him how he doesn’t do anything while her son Kenny goes to work every day. Hearing this Ben ran away.

Far away from the village, as hours passed Ben become tired and hungry. He sat down and played his flute. A young musician passing by heard it and said to Ben. You really do play this flute really well.

I am a musician playing for the King. You can earn money by playing the flute. Ben gladly agreed and went to the kingdom. The King heard Ben playing the flute and got pleased and said” You’re officially the flute player”.

Ben earned enough money and went back to the village to Jack and Anne’s home and all about his job. They were proud and happy about it. Ben promised that he would never be lazy at all from now on.
